30th July (Saturday), 31st July (Sunday) between 10:30 - 15:00 in Derida Dance Center will be hold a dance workshop with Anna Waisman.
Anna Waisman, Israeli, was born in Moldavia in 1971. She is a dancer, choreographer and a designer.
Between 1990 and 2008, she danced for various Israeli and international dance companies and choreographers, including
The Batsheva Dance Company, the Clipa Dance Theater, Ohad Naharin, Emanuel Gat and Hervé Robbe.
She studied Butoh in Japan with the master Kazuo Ono and his son Yoshito Ono.
Designs costume and stage designs for performance acts.
For the last several years Anna developed her approach for teaching and exploring the move/mental process that involves the four basic elements: time, space, The Performer's Body and the relationship between performer and audience.
Her teaching method vary between the classical dance technics (classical and modern), yoga and pilates princeples and improvisation as a way of exploring the interdisciplinary connections of the performance art mediums.
About the workshop:
First part will contain contemporary dance technic: disciplinary bodywork that demands accuracy, discipline that builds strengths, flexibility and freedom to grow. (floor work, movement combinations)

For this part Anna will propose materials but it's also recommended for the student to bring with them there own choreographic materials sentence to work with.
