Тhe choreographer and resident of Derida Dance Center Residency Program 2019, Gennaro Maione is seeking male and female performers for his new creation SEXTING - THE HAPPY ENDING. Performers must be over the age of 18 and have a strong dance and theatre background.
The final chapter has been characterized as "happy ending", a story into the intimacy that ranges from sexuality to pornography, from sadism to voyeurism. It is a very personal way to practice virtual sex and interpersonal relationships that Maione would like to convert into physical and emotional. How/What the virtual relationships are based on, where the only grip is to exchange sexually explicit messages that do not tell a reality but rather fantasy?
Where: SOFIA - Derida Dance Center.
When: 16th August 2018.
Deadline for applications: 15th August 2019.
Working language: English.
The chosen dancers must be ready for some moments of nude or partially nude.
Applicants must be available from 18th August – 8th September 2019 which will include:
✔ 20 days of development in Sofia
✔ Final presentation
